Booking a Lesson
Q. How do I book a lesson?A. You can book a lesson by any one of these four means: Calling, emailing, SMS and Skype. Our email and telephone number can be found in the contact us section and our SMS and Skype details will be sent out to members once their account has been credited.
Q.What do I need to include to make my booking?A. You just need to request and the day and possible times that you would like tuition and then we will email or skype you to confirm your booking or suggest alternative times.
Q. How last minute can my booking be?A. Subject to the availability of a tutor you can make bookings up to 2 hours before your specified time. We may not always have a tutor available to do a last minute lesson, but we will always try to arrange something for you.
Cancellations:
Q. If I need to cancel an online lesson and can give some notice, do I have to pay a cancellation fee. A. No, provided that you cancel with 12 hours notice, there will be no charge for the cancelled lesson. And your tutor will give you some alternative times to allow you to reschedule the lesson.
Q Do I have to pay a cancellation fee if I have to cancel the lesson at the last minute or I forget my lesson. A. If the lesson is cancelled with less than 12 hours notice or the student fails to show up for the lesson, then the student will be charged 1/2 fees for that lesson, to cover the tutors time. Apart from during the peak tutoring season January 12th - June 12th when full fees will be charged
If the lesson is an A-LEVEL lesson and is cancelled with less than 12 hours notice or the student fails to show up for class and the tutor has followed the correct procedures, then the student will be charged the full fees for that lesson, to cover the tutor's time and preparation.
Our Tutors:
Q. Are your tutors freelance or do you officially employ them? A. All our tutors are freelance tutors. We arrange their lessons and handle their payments, but each tutor is responsible for organising their own accounts and official paperwork.
